Primavera de Revolución: Bicifestación el 9M y Asamblea Ciudadana el 15M
9 de mayo: Bicifestación por una movilidad sostenible y segura
Ante el clamor de miles de personas que se congregaron el pasado 14 de febrero para reivindicar soluciones al equipo de gobierno local debido a la inseguridad provocada por la aplicación de la nueva e injusta ordenanza de movilidad, se reunió por fin, tras 5 años de solicitudes, la Mesa de la Bicicleta, en donde el colectivo Ruedas Redondas propuso nuevamente una batería de medidas y propuestas técnicas para mejorar la armonía y pacífica convivencia necesaria entre los vehículos a motor, VMP, peatones y ciclistas. Estas medidas incluyen la reconversión de 22 espacios, casi sin coste, que podrían convertirse en soluciones y alternativas provisionales (por ejemplo, la discriminación horaria en el centro histórico o el tránsito en zonas peatonales de 5 metros de ancho para facilitar la movilidad de las personas e interconectar la red disponible). El Área de Movilidad rechaza nuestras propuestas sin aportar las suficientes y acuciantes soluciones demandadas a corto plazo, y plantean proyectos para el año 2027. Esta situación está provocando una preocupante y alarmante descenso en el uso de medios sostenibles, sobre todo en colectivos tan vulnerables como son nuestros menores y personas mayores, que han visto de la noche a la mañana mermada su seguridad y su calidad de vida. No podemos esperar ni consentir a que sucedan siniestros en los ‘Timocarriles30‘, ni que el cicloturista deseche a esta moderna ciudad de Málaga como destino atractivo o que, sencillamente, el uso de la bicicleta desaparezca por las condiciones tan adversas a las que se le está sometiendo. Tan solo el 4% del espacio público malagueño es ciclable!! Por todo esto, y para conseguir una movilidad sostenible y segura, necesitamos tu apoyo y asistencia en la próxima BICIFESTACIÓN que se celebrará el domingo 9 de mayo a las 11:00 en la explanada del Puerto de Málaga. Por el 10º aniversario del 15M, queremos retomar las plazas, revivir el espíritu del respeto, la inclusión y la horizontalidad para decidir nuestro propio futuro. Solo la gobernanza ciudadana nos garantizará una Málaga post-pandemia justa y resiliente. Con seguridad pero con firmeza nos vemos el sábado 15 de mayo a las 11h en la Plaza de la (Re)Constitución para una asamblea 15Mayista con dos objetivos: recordarnos lo que sucedió el 15 de mayo del 2011 y cómo nos transformó; iniciar un proceso amplio de democracia directa que nos permita decidir colectivamente la ciudad que queremos tras la crisis pandémica.
